Hotel Celta - Vigo

The room had good lighting and sockets, but the lack of natural light was a downside. The cleanliness oversight in terms of towels and garbage was unexpected and affected my overall experience.

Particularly good and excellent location a 10-15 minute walking distance from Praza da Constitucion. Great area very close to bars nearby, city center and Samil beach and Airport.

The hotel's location made it easy to stroll around and enjoy attractions like the bustling Casco Vello and picturesque Paseo de Alfonso XII, while being just a few steps away from good dining spots like Nikko espacio gastronomico and Curcuma. A warm welcome from the staff added to the overall experience.

The velvet-like atmosphere of certain shared spaces gave a hint of comfort, perfect after a day of exploring. The quirky charm of the decor in the lobby provided a unique backdrop to settle in for a moment.

The single room I stayed in faced a dark, humid courtyard, with almost no natural light filtering through an old, broken window. Noise traveled like a blaster shot. I caught details of my neighbors' conversations and bathroom habits like I was eavesdropping from the next ship. The lack of insulation left the mattress feeling less than stellar, while a missing headboard made my 'bed' more of a sleep experiment than a restful spot. To top it off, the remote control didn't work, limiting my TV options, already sparse. A dusty room with deteriorating wallpaper added to the disappointments, clashing with the hotel's online glam.

Consider bringing earplugs to ensure a good night's sleep, as noise from neighboring rooms can be quite disruptive.

The location is fantastic, with a bus stop just around the corner and restaurants within a short walking distance. The rooms are comfortable, with clean sheets and towels, which are essential when traveling with children.

One downside is that the reception staff had limited English proficiency, made communication slightly challenging.

The large garden and swimming pool were perfect for my family, especially with four babies in tow. The staff was cute, we felt comfortable. Plus, breakfast was a hit with various options to keep everyone happy.

My children wished for more kid-friendly amenities.

The front desk staff was friendly, and I appreciated that they let me check into a different room on the 5th floor that was much quieter. The windows blocked out most noise, except for those pesky seagulls, but at least I had hot water and a good bed for a decent night's sleep.

It wasn't too low priced, but for what I got, it was still acceptable.

It was comfy enough but faced a dark courtyard, so not much natural light. Good lights and sockets though! The reception staff were nice, but I asked for towels and a clean-up, and nothing really happened. Mattresses could use an upgrade, and I wish there was better communication regarding cleaning requests. Great for short stays!

It was just a perfect match for a swift stopover in Vigo with best value. The location was really handy, with easy access to public transport and dining spots. For a quick stay, make sure to check the heating in the winter months.

Great staff, they were really nice, and the room we got was bright and cozy. We had a big comfy bed, central heating, a desk to work on, and a TV 📺. the location was awesome, just a short walk from Samil beach.

The staff here is excellent, friendly, and always greets you with a smile.
